Agronomic Advisor and Buyer – Manitoba

Main task and responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies aimed at securing production contracts with farmers.
Negotiate and finalize production contracts.
Provide technical assistance to farmers, as needed.
Coordinate logistics related to production and seed delivery.
Coordinate the logistics of delivering harvested crops to the various storage sites.
Prepare activity reports and KPIs for management.
Actively participate in promotional and communication activities, including social media.
Collect and evaluate the quantity and quality of samples during the harvest period.

Technical training in agriculture and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
Solid knowledge of and experience in grain production and/or merchandising.
Experience in, and strong interest for, sales and networking.
Strong aptitude and motivation to use digital tools, including Microsoft Office, ERP systems, CRM platforms and AI-powered solutions.
Autonomy and strong organizational skills, with a results-driven approach.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with producers.
Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal savvy.
High level of commitment and sense of belonging to the company.
Availability to work outside of regular business hours, as needed.
