Responsibilities :
- Creates and validates orders, tickets, and settlements in the system.
- Follows up with our partners to obtain loading/unloading scale tickets.
- Enters tickets with accurate weights and grade factors and applies them to the correct contracts.
- Processing freight invoices – validates cost accruals, enters and approves invoices for payment
- Provides suppliers with unload reports and ticket details via email, creates corresponding settlements and invoices.
- Responds quickly and effectively to emails, and provides excellent customer service to both suppliers and customers.
- Performs any other duties related to his/her position.
Skills, Knowledge and Required Abilities :
- College degree in administration, office technology or relevant 2 years work experience
- Excellent expertise of the Office suite
- Experience with AgTech software (asset)
- Bilingual (spoken and written)
- Highly organized and able to work independently
- Knowledge of grain and agriculture (asset)
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to pay attention to small details
- Ability to understand a work-related problem and/or situation and take steps to resolve it
