We have drawn directly from the natural resources that make up our country to name our new varieties. Utilizing names from Canadian rivers, national parks, mountains and other iconic landscapes, we hope to showcase our beautiful country around the world.

 

Mount Fryatt

 

At a height of 3,300 meters, Mount Fryatt is a must-see attraction in the heart of Jasper National Park, Alberta.

Kovik River

 

In October 2018, the Quebec government introduced a bill to make the Kovik River an aquatic reserve.

 

Located at the northern tip of the province, the river has been a fishing ground used by Inuit for centuries.

 

The purpose of the Kovik Aquatic Reserve is to protect and maintain biological diversity, the natural and cultural resources, as well as ensuring the conservation of local Arctic char populations.

Yoho National Park

 

Yoho Park, named after a Cree expression of wonder, is located in the western part of the Canadian Rockies. With its steep rock faces, waterfalls and breathtaking peaks, the park offers a unique glimpse into the wonders of Canadian nature.
