Logistics Administrative Assistant - Ceresco

 

 

Responsibilities :

  • Creates and validates orders, tickets, and settlements in the system.
  • Follows up with our partners to obtain loading/unloading scale tickets.
  • Enters tickets with accurate weights and grade factors and applies them to the correct contracts.
  • Processing freight invoices – validates cost accruals, enters and approves invoices for payment
  • Provides suppliers with unload reports and ticket details via email, creates corresponding settlements and invoices.
  • Responds quickly and effectively to emails, and provides excellent customer service to both suppliers and customers.
  • Performs any other duties related to his/her position.

Skills, Knowledge and Required Abilities :

  • College degree in administration, office technology or relevant 2 years work experience
  • Excellent expertise of the Office suite
  • Experience with AgTech software (asset)
  • Bilingual (spoken and written)
  • Highly organized and able to work independently
  • Knowledge of grain and agriculture (asset)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to pay attention to small details
  • Ability to understand a work-related problem and/or situation and take steps to resolve it
